Nowadays there are too many laptop and notebook models from different manufactures.different models of same company need seperate drivers for display,wlan etc.It is very difficult to service technitian to find some drivers for some device which is not included with driver pack or website of the company.
For example the wlan driver for windows 8 of toshiba c850 is neither in the site nor in the driver pack.
There is many softwre for findig missing drivers .FRom my personal experiance i prefer
3dp
3dp is a open software which search on the web and deliver hardware and driver details.This iss very useful to me for formatting laptop and notebooks.
